简介：

The Centre for Medical Radiation Physics (CMRP) at University of Wollongong is one of the largest medical physics education and research institutions in the Asia Pacific region. CMRP has a demonstrated world leadership in medical radiation physics with semiconductor radiation dosimetry/detector instrumentation. This talk will present some recent research progresses in advanced radiation detector instrumentations in CMRP for radiation therapy and imaging applications. These include researches and developments of advanced semiconductor detector technology for microdosimetry/nanodosimetry in photon and hadron radiation therapies; advanced nuclear imaging detectors with newly emerged silicon photomultipliers for multi-modality molecular imaging; innovative imaging devices, such as Brachy View, a novel in-body imaging system for prostate cancer therapy.
