报告摘要

In vivo fluorescence imaging in the secondnear-infrared window (1000-1700 nm) is a new rising field, and it can providedeep tissue penetration and high spatial resolution, owing to the reducedscattering of long-wavelength photons. However, current research on developingsmall molecule based NIR-II probes is rare. Considering the important use ofsmall molecule dyes in biomedicine and clinical translation, we aim to developnovel small molecule based NIR-II dyes and further use them to construct probesfor cancer targeted imaging. Specifically, a series of noveldonor-acceptor-donor (D-A-D) type small organic fluorescent compounds weredesigned, synthesized and evaluated.

报告人简介:

Yao Sun, Ph D, Post-doc Research Fellow atDepartment of Radiology, Bio-X and Molecular Imaging Program, StanfordUniversity. He received his B.Sc. from Huazhong Agriculture University (China)in 2005 and his Ms from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2008.His PhD was obtained from Wuhan University in 2015. He is currently Post-docresearch fellow at Stanford University. His research involved Molecular Imagingof Cancers at NIR Window II, working under the supervision of Prof. Zhen Cheng.
