Research Interests:

My research interests are in the areas of inorganic, materials, environmental and radiochemistry of the actinides.

Research Experience and Accomplishments:

Juan Diwu received a B. Sc. in Materials Chemistry in 2008 from the University of Science and Technology of China, and a Ph. D in Enviromental Radiochemistry in 2012 from University of Notre Dame under the direction of the Gregory R. Choppin Professor Thomas E. Albrecht-Schmitt, who is now in Florida State University. She then spent one year as a joint postdoctoral fellow of Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, Chemical Science Division, Glenn T. Seaborg Research Center, and University of California, Berkeley, Department of Chemistry with Professor Kenneth N. Raymond and Dr. David K. Shuh. She became a faculty member of the Center of Nuclear Environmental Chemistry, School for Radiological and Interdisciplinary Sciences of Soochow University as a professor in 2013. Prof. Juan Diwu has published more than 35 peer-reviewed journal articles on Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.Adv. Funct. Mater.Environ. Sci. Technol.Chem. Mater.Chem. Commun.Inorg. Chem.Eur. J. Inorg. Chem.Comments on Inorg. Chem, and etc.
